The Executive Committee at length discussed the strategy to be adopted in the Assembly and Lok Sabha elections. While some argued that the party should go it alone, many felt that the option of agenda-based alliances should be kept open. The party reviewed the political situation in detail. The fast changing scenario and the floating of new parties by Sri Kiran Kumar reddy and Sri Pavan Kalyan have been analysed. Keeping all these in mind it was felt that there should be a concrete and credible agenda to shape the future of both the States of Telugu speaking people. Any alliance or adjustments have to be based on principles and common agenda, the party leaders felt.

The party will release its manifesto for general elections in the third week of March and the second list of candidates by March-end.
