Shedding blood to protest Liquor shop auctions

As part of its ongoing agitation against State Government's liquor auctions, Lok Satta Party leaders and volunteers will be donating blood tomorrow.

"We are donating blood for the needy while the Government is sucking poor people's blood by promoting liquor sales through belt shops in every nook and corner of the State", says party's Organizing Secretary B. Ramamohana Rao.

The Lok Satta Party has chosen the Gandhigiri mode to voice its protest against the Government's liquor policy, as it does not believe in any action that disrupts the routine life of people. Blood collected at the camp will be passed on to Gandhi and Osmania Government Hospitals.

The blood donation camp is being organized under the leadership of Dr. Leela Samrani, Medical Director, Public Health Council, Andhra Pradesh, at Community Hall, Venkata Ramana Colony, Khairatabad, from 10-00 a.m. onwards tomorrow.
